Scar revision at Anna Kara PMU Studio is an inkless treatment with Nue Regen, a professional serum made for scars and stretch marks. The serum is worked into the skin over the scar, and over a series of sessions the scar can look smoother and more even with the skin around it. We use no laser, no chemical peel, and no pigment for this treatment.
Who it is for
Healed scars with an uneven texture, and stretch marks (booked as Stretch Mark Revision). The scar has to be fully healed, and the artist checks this at the consultation.
If the scar is dark, a Nue Bright treatment can lighten it, see scar lightening. If the main issue is color, for example a white or pink scar, scar camouflage matches it to your skin tone with pigment. For stretch marks there is also a page on stretch mark revision.
How it goes
You start with a consultation: the artist looks at the scar, talks through realistic results, and recommends a plan. The treatment itself takes about one hour. How many sessions you need depends on the scar, and the artist tells you at the consultation.
Is this laser scar resurfacing?
No. We don't offer laser treatments, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion. Scar revision at our studio uses Nue Regen serum.
Will my scar disappear?
No. Revision aims to make a scar look smoother and less noticeable, it does not erase it. Results vary from person to person and depend on the scar.
Can you treat stretch marks with the same serum?
Yes. Stretch Mark Revision uses the same Nue Regen serum.
How much does scar revision cost?
Scar Revision (Regen Serum) is $500 per session, and a serum touch-up is $250.
